The hostel offers an accessible base for touring significant local sites, which is essential for history enthusiasts like myself. I shared the space with a fellow travelling companion, making the cozy atmosphere all the more enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably clean, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities available, such as an electric kettle and flat-screen TV. Each morning, we took advantage of the nearby cafes, but having a kitchenette made it easy to prepare our own breakfasts when we wanted. The welcoming staff were a highlight, consistently offering helpful advice on nearby attractions, further enhancing our exploration of Alexandria's rich history. Serine Hostel presents an inviting option for both solo and paired travellers seeking a comfortable stay replete with historical discovery and local charm. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking to dive into the captivating stories of Alexandria while enjoying a homely environment.
